WHAT IS THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS AT BAYARDS LIKE?

JOB APPLICATION

Through the website you can send in your job application. You will immediately receive an acknowledgement of receipt and within two weeks you will hear if you are being invited for a first meeting.

FIRST MEETING

The first meeting will be a meeting to get to know each other. You will have this conversation with one of our HR Advisors. Often the direct manager of the specific department will be present at this meeting. If the meeting goes well, a second meeting will be scheduled. In case it is decided there will not be a second meeting, we will call you and let you know why there will be no further talks.

SECOND MEETING AND REFERENCE CHECK

During this second meeting, we will go more into detail regarding the job, but also your working experience, competence and ambitions. Apart from the HR advisor/direct manager, also other people can be involved in this conversation. In addition, if relevant, references from previous employers can be requested after the second meeting.

ASSESSMENT / MEDICAL CHECK

If the job requires an assessment or medical check, you will be informed after the second meeting.

THIRD MEETING

The third meeting will be about the working conditions. This conversation will take place with one of our HR advisors and, if needed, a direct manager. Within Bayards, we work conform the ‘CAO Metalektro’. More information on this topic can be found here: https://www.caometalektro.nl/home. Within Bayards Build, we work conform the CAO voor het Metaalbewerkingsbedrijf.
